Character, Integrity, Commitment and Vision are what make her the standalone choice in steering the educational innovations, fiscal oversight and multi-system accountability administration MCOE requires. It was my pleasure to have worked with Ana during her time as principal. All those qualities were evident, along with a compassion for students and their learning that made her a leader by example in making achievement possible… in doing “whatever it takes". In fact, during her tenure, Thomas Olaeta Elementary received statewide recognition for Title 1 Academic Achievement (2011-2012). Succeeding labors bore fruit with the honoring of CDE’s California Distinguished School honors in 2013 and 2014. She is the leader our children deserve."
