From her beginnings as a bilingual instructional assistant to being recognized as Merced County's 2025 School Administrator of the year, Ana Boyenga has devoted 33 years of service to the education of our children here in Merced County.
Ana's experience in Merced County Education is extensive and broad based. She has spent time as an Instructional Assistant, Classroom Teacher, Director, Principal and, now, Assistant Superintendent, giving her the breadth and experience needed to be our next County Superintendent of Schools.
Ana's excellence in Education has been recognized throughout the years, with Schools she served as Principal at having earned the Title 1 Academic Achievement School Award in 2012 and the California Distinguished School Award in 2014. Individually, Ana was named as the Association of California School Administrators, Region IX: Principal of the Year 2011-2012; Association of California School Administrators, Region IX: Curriculum & Instruction Administrator of the Year 2020-2021 and the Merced County Office of Education Administrator of the Year for 2025.
